HADR IONS Working Group Was Held in Visakhapatnam, India

Humanitarian Aids and Disaster Relief (HADR) IONS Working Group was held in Visakhapatnam, India on 27th and 28th September. In this event which was held with the attendance of the representatives of navies which were members of this IWG, some of the chosen guests delivered their speeches and in the final meeting they discussed approving of the final guideline. The Indian Navy, as the chair of this working group, has previously hosted the event. In this event Captain Mohammad Reza Nemati as the head of a two-member delegation and on behalf of I.R. Iran Navy was attended and delivered his speech on the issue of new threats in the Indian Ocean.

It should be noted that the next IONS event will be held by I.R. Iran Navy as the chair of this working group in Iran at the end of the current year in the form of Maritime Security IWG.
